The Rocky Mounts Noose SL Bike Rack is a clever fork mount bike rack that attaches directly to factory car rack cross bars. The Noose SL has been specially engineered to mount to vehicles with factory racks, eliminating the extra investment in a new aftermarket base rack system. - The RockyMounts Noose SL will fit directly to any crossbar under 4.25" in width and 1.5" in height (Nissan Xterra, Frontier, and some Pathfinder factory bars require an oversize bolt kit- part #1590, $4.95 - please contact us to custom order bolt kit).
- The Noose SL is lockable using a Rocky Mounts lock core (sold separately; see accessories below). Thule & Yakima lock cores do NOT work with Rocky Mount racks.
- RockyMounts Noose also works with Yakima round cross bars or Thule square load bars - alternatively, if you have Yakima or Thule cross bars we recommend the Rocky Mounts Lariat SL.
- Please note that the Noose SL works great with all road and mountain bikes up to 2.3" tire width. If your tires are more than 2.3" (check tire sidewall for size) you will need the Rocky Mounts Noose SLX instead.
- Also, if your bike has disc brakes then the Rocky Mounts Disc Brake Adaptor is required (not included; see accessories below).
